🍁Hello Fall🍁

Did you know that Daylight Saving Time (DST) was first implemented in Germany in 1916 as an energy saving method? The United States adopted DST in 1918 as a wartime protocol; however, it was officially implemented as part of the Uniform Time Act in 1966. Since then, DST has been part of the great American debate. As a reminder, DST ends November 3rd so make sure you fall back an hour.

★ Employee Highlight - Adrian ★

Adrian has been with Griff’s Electric for 5 years, starting as an apprentice and completing his training at InterCoast College in Anaheim.

“Adrian is one of our favorite electricians with outstanding skills and technical qualities, and most importantly, he has a very friendly and personal attitude towards his coworkers and our customers.” ~ Griff Slatten

Favorite Hobby: He is a fish tank hobbyist when not exploring museums or camping with his three kids.

It’s back to school time! Griff’s Electric is proud to serve regional school districts to ensure students, faculty, and staff are provided a safe learning and working environment. Take a look at our Project Portfolio to see what else we work on!

In January 2023, Sequoia Elementary School in Westminster School District had a campus-wide power outage. Water and debris accumulated in the underground vault and duct system, shorting out the feeder conductors. Griff’s Electric provided emergency deployment of electrical personnel and equipment to remove and install new wiring from the meter/main's distribution panel to the main campus distribution panel. Griff got the call at 7:30 AM, was onsite at 8:30 AM, and completed the job by 7:00 PM the same day.
