The Griff's Electric Newsletter

Summer 2024

🌴Welcome Summer🌴

As temperatures rise, Griff’s Electric is prepared to help you stay cool all summer long. Here are a few reminders to save money and stay safe:

🌡️To reduce costs and help prevent grid-overload, set your thermostat between 72-78℉. You can also keep blinds and curtains closed during the day to prevent the sun’s heat from infiltrating.

👚Wash and dry clothes in the early morning hours. Even better - hang your clothes out to dry!

🪭If you have ceiling fans, make sure they are spinning counterclockwise so the blades are creating a slight downdraft.

🏡For the long-term planner, consider planting a tree or two in the fall. Mature trees create shade, lowering cooling costs during the summer.

🚢 Project Highlight 🚢

Griff’s Electric has special clearances to work on projects in the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. From LED lighting upgrades to transformer replacement to charger unit installation, Griff’s Electric has had active projects at the Ports for the last couple of decades.
